I'll always love my mother (a notorious
non-saver) for storing a few of my favorite childhood things in a "hope chest" designated just for me. She did the same for each of my siblings (correct me if I'm wrong , mom!)...
It's funny how old things are innately so
charming. Certain classic styles will always be in fashion.

And yes, those are two different shoes on her feet... should not come as a shock to those who know us well...
XOXO,

Thank you,
pinterest and thank you,
Seana for bringing this awesome outfit (and
my style pill) to my attention!
This is quite possibly my favorite color combo of the season.

I love the sweet, nostalgic feeling of this picture... even more because that darling little girl is my own mother and her very first summer love. She still remembers wearing that dress (her favorite at the time), and to me it still looks current. Real style lasts through the ages.

This lovely color: a tangerine-tomato hybrid (with an orange highlighter thrown in for pizazz) has the potential to overwhelm a tiny frame-Â but used sparingly with more muted tones, it becomes positively delicious! Just picture your little one, bronzed shouldered and bare-footed, running down the beach in a sand colored dress, bursts of juicy color accenting her flushed cheeks... Pure summer sweetness (although this color will likely follow us into fall as well).
