Wow. I spotted these on yahoo the other day, but I didn't have time to check it out. When I finally did, Lily, my seven year old, was with me and completely blown away. She had the best time naming each princess as I scrolled through the pictures. The artist, Jirka Vinse Jonatan Väätäinen (pronounced Yirka), has taken our most beloved Disney princesses and made them more human. Neat! My inner child (and secret desire to be a Disney princess) has been awakened... Check out the rest on his blog, here. Who are your favorites?

Because we don't have any photos to show you yet (and we know the anticipation is killing you!), we've decided to reveal the actual working sketch of our Grace Romper (part of the W.D. I rarely get a chance to spend one-on-one time with my kids, so when one of them has a school event that is "no siblings allowed", I actually appreciate it... and I know they love it, too. Something about my undivided attention makes them glow. Today, Jack had an "Under the Big Top" celebration and the school really went the extra mile to make the students feel special. Years from now, I imagine their mental images will look something like this: Have a wonderful weekend!! XOXO, Sarah P.S. I hardly ever pull out my super-duper-heavy-duty-SLR anymore. For everyday moments, my cell is so much more convenient!
