Homespun Holiday FAQ

Peppermint Snowflake, Spearmint Snowflake, and Cool Mint Snowflake are some of the most labor intense styles we have offered this year. The idea was originally born when Jack came home from school with a "paper snowflake" he cut from construction paper. Talk about memories! It brought me back to our own childhood holidays, when we would spend hours cutting and comparing our pretty paper creations. Shannon loved the idea as much as I did, so (after much deliberation over design logistics and fabric options), these dresses began their journey from dream to reality! We truly hope you love them as much as we do.

  • Q. When will these items ship?

All items from the Homespun Holiday collection will ship within 3 to 5 days.

  • Q. Can you provide some fit suggestions?

    • Snowflake dresses: We think this dress runs TTS. Our children all wear their typical sizes and can wear a size up or down. Please see size chart for overall length. Dress features a tie sash for customization.
    • Boy shirts: We think the boy shirts run TTS. See size chart for overall length.

    • Q. Anything else we should know?

      • Snowflake Dresses: These little works of bodice art were created from two layers of fabric. The ivory layer on each dress was first lightly printed with our "snowflake" design. Much like a paper snowflake, each shape was then cut by hand until a pattern emerged in the blank space. While a true paper snowflake is typically folded then cut to create symmetry, our fabric version was cut in a single layer requiring the skill, patience, and precision of a true artisan. After each bodice topper was cut, it was gently folded along all open edges and hand stitched onto a blue, red, or green base fabric. Hand cuts and hand stitching mean there will be variations in stitching, exact cuts, and snowflake placement from piece to piece. Additionally, each different color has a different snowflake design. We hope you appreciate the differences and value the handmade nature of this design! Please handle and wash each dress with care. Boleros (available when you purchase the SET) feature a 3/4 sleeve and are made from 100% wool, lined in coordinating cotton. The bolero is intended for dry clean only.
      • Each boy shirt coordinates beautifully with one of the snowflake dresses, but they can also be worn all year (and will look great with other WDW items in your closet!).
